Angelita is located near Tulum and it is like EL Pit a sinkhole that reaches a depth of 60 meters. At 30 m a cloud of hydrogen sulfide from which rocks and trees arise. Beyond the cloud begins a total darkness in which you swim among ancient trees and other organic material. Ascending you can find enormous stalactites, hanging from the edge of the cenote, which remind us of the times when the water level was much lower. This is a dive for expert divers due to the depth. And the site is also used for technical diving and freediving.
Cenote Carwash is also called Aktun Ha and is called this because it was once used to wash taxis. It is similar to the EDEN cenote with two sections for diving, one in the upstream section and one in the downstream section of the cenote which is only for certified divers. The cavern has a suggestive atmosphere with trees and roots that intersect with huge rock formations and you can find some Mayan artifacts. In the open part, in its crystal clear waters, among the water lilies you can find turtles, cichlids and other animals. The maximum depth of the dive at this site is about 15 meters.
