Recently opened to the public, this cenote is located in Dos Ojos Park. There are tables to set up your equipment and from there it is only a short distance to enter the water.
Its entrance is spectacular and cenote experience is required. It is accessed from a platform in the dry area of the cavern. The guide line installed in the cavern area leads in a circle around the open water area and you often cross the open water. The main attraction of this cenote are the peculiar bubble formations that can only be seen here and of which you have no idea how they were formed. The maximum depth that is reached during the dive is 8.5 meters, while the average depth is about 4-6 meters. Due to its proximity to the surface and the amount of organic matter such as leaves, branches, etc., it provides enough food for the very curious blind fish, which can be seen here on almost every dive.
Since a lot of organic material, such as leaves, branches, etc., falls into the cenote, there is more than enough food for the rare blind fish. Especially in this cenote, blind fish can be seen on almost every dive.
